Attorneys John Kastelic and Marisa Kakoulas will break down US copyright, trademark and licensing law as it relates to tattooing and answer your questions in plain language that you won’t need a law degree to understand. The multi-media presentation will include real world examples, informative handouts, sample contracts, and a Q&A.
Mr. Kastelic has more than 25 years in private practice counseling diverse clients such as Microsoft, Yahoo!, Google, Zynga, the San Francisco Chronicle, Warner Bros., Malpaso Productions/Clint Eastwood, NBC-Universal, Paramount and many others. Ms. Kakoulas has been practicing law for 15 years and is the author of the tattoo culture blog Needles & Sins (www.needlesandsins.com) as well as numerous feature articles in INKED, Skin & Ink and Total Tattoo. He book “Tattoo Law” is forthcoming.
